Welcome to
Small Scale Revival

Small Scale Revival is about building resilience through regenerative farming, ecological design, and a mindset shift toward community interdependence. We provide real-world strategies for restoring landscapes, producing food in a way that builds topsoil, and creating resiliency in the face of challenges—while fostering stronger, more connected communities. Through hands-on education, on-farm training, and storytelling, we aim to equip people with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in their own lives.

Noah Poulos

Noah is a farmer, writer, and educator based in Western North Carolina, where he’s gratefully lived for the past decade. At the heart of all his work is a deep interest in relationship—between people, and between people and land. Small Scale Revival was born from that commitment: a way to help others build farms and lives rooted in connection, clarity, and ecological intelligence.

Before founding Small Scale Revival, Noah worked as a field biologist, forestry technician, arborist, farm manager, and land design consultant. He holds a permaculture design certificate and is a certified ecological monitor through the Savory Institute. His approach blends hands-on farm production with a systems-level understanding of ecology, business, and community health.

Through Small Scale Revival, Noah helps farmers and landowners design viable, human-scale farms that are ecologically sound, economically resilient, and personally fulfilling. His background across disciplines allows him to connect the dots between soil biology, enterprise planning, animal behavior, and long-term land stewardship.

Whether leading workshops, walking fields with clients, or writing tools to help farmers thrive, Noah brings a bright spirit and relentless humor to even the grittiest tasks. He’s here for the long game—committed to learning from and contributing to the agrarian culture of this region for decades to come.
